MD Technology ("Developer", "we", "our", "us") operates Android applications, software, products, and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, use, share, and protect your information when you use our apps and website.

BY INSTALLING, USING, OR OTHERWISE ACCESSING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND GIVE YOUR EXPLICIT AND INFORMED CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR SERVICES.

1. Scope and App-Specific Differences

This Privacy Policy is the central, reusable privacy framework for all Android applications and services published by MD Technology. It is designed to be linked from Google Play Console for multiple apps.

Actual data practices may differ between applications. Where an app collects, shares, or retains data differently because of its features, permissions, target audience, payments, or platform requirements, the app's Google Play listing (including its Data Safety section) and any app-specific disclosure control for that app.

Wording rule used throughout: "depending on the features and functionality of a particular application, we may collect…" We do not claim collection that does not occur.

2. Information We May Collect (Depending on the App)

  • Personal information you provide: name, email, or message content when you contact us or create an account (only in apps offering accounts or support forms).
  • Account and contact information: sign-in identifiers where an app offers accounts, sync, or premium features.
  • Device information: device model, OS version, app version, language, and settings.
  • Device identifiers: Android Advertising ID or app-set identifiers, primarily in ad-supported free apps for advertising and measurement.
  • IP address and approximate location: inferred from network data by the OS, ad, or cloud providers. We do not collect precise GPS location unless an app expressly requests that permission and discloses it.
  • App usage information: features used, session counts, and in-app events (only in apps with analytics).
  • Diagnostics and crash logs: crash reports and performance data used to fix bugs.
  • Payment and subscription information: processed by Google Play Billing. We receive purchase entitlements, not your card details.
  • App permissions data: only data accessed through permissions the app requests and you grant (each Play listing documents its permissions).
  • Cookies and web technologies: our website may use cookies or similar storage for preferences and basic analytics.

2A. App-Specific Disclosures — Calculator (com.mdtech.calculator)

The calculator app specifically:

  • Uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements in the app.
  • Uses Firebase Analytics to measure usage and improve the app. It does not send us your personal identity.
  • Uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before showing ads to users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and to let you change that choice later.
  • Requests SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW to show an optional floating mini-calculator over other apps. This overlay cannot read, collect or transmit anything from other apps.
  • Uses the AD_ID permission and Google's ad-services permissions, as required by Google AdMob for advertising.
  • Collects no personal information from you. The app never asks for your name, email, phone number or any other identifying detail, and it operates no account or sign-in system.
  • Stores only your calculations and preferences on your device. Your calculation history, chosen theme, sound, haptics, transparency, angle mode, decimal precision and floating-calculator switch are saved locally on your device. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and is removed when you uninstall the app, use Settings → Data & Reset → Reset all app data, or clear the app's data in Android Settings.
  • Does not require an account. No login, registration or sign-in exists in this app.
  • Does not collect your phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.

3. How We Use Information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Apps and website.
  • Fix bugs, measure performance, and ensure compatibility.
  • Serve and measure advertising in free ad-supported Apps.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, and entitlements via Google Play.
  • Provide support and respond to deletion, refund, or legal requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

4. Permissions We Request

Calculator requests the following. Every permission is either required for ads/Google services, or optional and switchable by you:

Required Permissions

  • INTERNET — Required for ads and Google services
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Required to check connectivity
  • AD_ID — Advertising identifier, required by Google AdMob
  • ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID — Google advertising services
  • ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION — Google advertising services
  • ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS — Google advertising services

Library Permissions

  • WAKE_LOCK — Held by Google advertising/measurement libraries while an ad loads
  • BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE — Google Play install-referrer library
  • com.mdtech.calculator.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — AndroidX internal receiver permission generated by the app libraries

Optional Permissions

  • VIBRATE — Optional key feedback (can be switched off in Settings)
  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW — Optional floating calculator overlay (can be switched off)

Calculator requests no foreground-service permission and runs no foreground service. The optional floating calculator is a user-enabled overlay service that runs only while switched on and stops when disabled.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only as needed and as disclosed per app:

  • Service providers: hosting, crash reporting, analytics, or support tooling, bound by confidentiality and purpose limits.
  • Advertising providers: in free ad-supported Apps (e.g. Google AdMob), identifiers and ad interactions may be processed to serve and measure ads under their policies.
  • Payment processing: Google Play processes transactions under Google's terms.
  • Legal and safety: where required by law, court order, fraud prevention, or protection of rights, safety, and security.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to each app's risk profile (e.g. transport encryption where networked, least-privilege access, dependency updates). No method is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes above:

  • On-device data persists until you clear or uninstall the app.
  • Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to resolve requests.
  • Purchase entitlement records are kept per accounting and legal needs.
  • Where retention is legally required (tax, fraud prevention, security logs), data is kept for that period and then deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal data: contactus@mdtechnology.online.
  • Reset the Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android Settings (affects ad-supported Apps).
  • Uninstall an App to stop further collection by that App; revoke permissions in system settings.
  • International users: rights vary by jurisdiction; we respond in line with applicable law.

9. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services in our apps. These services collect usage data in compliance with their own Privacy Policies. The services are described below.

Advertising

Third-party ad serving systems allow user data to be utilized for advertising communication purposes displayed in the form of banners and other advertisements on MD Technology apps, possibly based on user interests.

Google AdMob

We use AdMob by Google as the main ad server. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure advertisements. Please see the AdMob Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Analytics

Third-party analytics services allow us to monitor and analyze app usage, better understand our audience, and improve functionality.

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (by Google) to collect, monitor, and analyze log data, including frequency of use, session duration, crash reports, and in-app events. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

Calculator uses Google's UMP to request your consent before showing personalised advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and to provide the "Ad privacy choices" control in Settings. Firebase Crashlytics

Firebase Crashlytics is not used in calculator. Some other MD Technology apps may use it, where that app's Google Play listing says so.

Google Play Services

Our apps use Google Play Services for core functionality and updates. Google may collect data per its Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

10. Advertising ID and Personalized Ads

Our free, ad-supported apps use your Android Advertising ID to display relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization".
  • Or visit Google Ads Settings.

11. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Our apps are general-audience and not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Where an application is specifically designed for children, that app will carry additional disclosures and follow Google Play Families requirements.

12. International Users and Data Transfers

The Developer is based in India and serves users worldwide. Where data is processed using cloud, analytics, advertising, or support providers, it may be transferred to and processed in other countries with different data-protection laws (including the United States, where Google's servers are located). We use providers with appropriate contractual and technical safeguards where applicable.

13. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data at any time. Please email us at contactus@mdtechnology.online with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include your app name and any relevant details. We will process your request within 30 days.

You can also erase everything yourself at any time: Settings → Data & Reset → Reset all app data, or Android Settings → Apps → calculator → Storage → Clear data.

14. Changes to This Policy

We update this page centrally with a new version number and Last Updated date. Material changes are announced here; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. App-specific changes appear in the affected Play listing where practicable.

15. Compliance Note

These pages support compliance but do not guarantee that any application automatically complies with Google Play policies. Each application must independently comply with applicable Google Play policies, applicable laws, and its actual data practices.
