At MD Technology, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our apps and services.

Based on how our apps work, the following data may exist:

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

  • Calculation history — Stored locally, never transmitted to our servers.
  • App preferences — Settings, themes, and configurations stored locally.
  • Cached data — Temporary files stored by the app.

Note: Local data can be deleted by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from your device settings.

Data Collected by Third-Party Services

  • Advertising ID — Collected by Google AdMob for ad serving.
  • Anonymous analytics — Collected by Firebase Analytics.
  • Crash reports — Collected by Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Device information — Model, OS version, and language for compatibility.
  • IP address — Processed by ad and analytics providers.

Note: This data is collected and held by Google (AdMob, Firebase) under their own privacy policies. We do not have direct access to this data.

Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Name, email, or phone number — We do not collect these.
  • Precise location — We do not collect GPS data.
  • Photos, contacts, or files — We do not access these.
  • Account information — Our apps do not require accounts.
  • Payment information — Processed by Google Play, not by us.

3. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of any personal data associated with your use of our apps:

Step 1: Send Us an Email

Subject line: Data Deletion Request

Step 2: Include the Following Information

  • Your name (for correspondence)
  • App name (e.g., Calculator, MD Studio AI)
  • Your Advertising ID (if available) — you can find this in your device settings under Google → Ads
  • Description of the data you want deleted
  • Any relevant details that help us locate your data

Step 3: Wait for Confirmation

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

4. What Happens After Your Request

Once we receive your deletion request:

  • Verification — We may ask for additional information to verify your identity and locate your data.
  • Processing — We will delete or anonymize the data we control.
  • Third-party notification — Where applicable, we will forward your request to relevant third parties (Google AdMob, Firebase).
  • Confirmation — We will notify you once the deletion is complete.

6. Data We Cannot Delete

In certain circumstances, we may be unable to delete data, including when:

  • Legal obligations require retention (e.g., tax records, legal disputes).
  • Security purposes require retaining data to prevent fraud or abuse.
  • Technical limitations prevent deletion of anonymized or aggregated data.
  • Third-party data is outside our control (contact the third party directly).

7. How to Delete Local Data Yourself

You can delete locally stored data at any time:

Option 1: Clear App Data

  • Open your device Settings.
  • Go to Apps → Select the app.
  • Tap Storage → Clear Data.

Option 2: Uninstall the App

  • Long-press the app icon.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • All local data will be removed.

Option 3: Reset Advertising ID

  • Open device Settings.
  • Go to Google → Ads.
  • Tap Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.

8. Data Retention Policy

Our data retention practices:

  • Local data — Retained until you clear or uninstall the app.
  • Support correspondence — Retained for up to 2 years for quality and legal purposes.
  • Purchase records — Retained as required by accounting and tax laws.
  • Third-party data — Retained according to Google's policies.

9. Children's Data

Our apps are not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately, and we will delete it promptly.

10. Your Other Privacy Rights

In addition to deletion, you may also have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of your data.
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Portability — Request transfer of your data.
  • Objection — Object to certain data processing.
  • Restriction — Request restriction of processing.

11. Response Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: Within 7 business days
  • Verification: Within 14 business days
  • Completion: Within 30 days

If we need more time, we will inform you and explain why.

12. No Cost

Exercising your data deletion rights is free of charge. We will not charge you for making a request, unless the request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

13. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with:

  • Your local data protection authority.
  • The Data Protection Board of India (if applicable).
  • Any other relevant regulatory body in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Data Deletion page from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
